How terrorist share their ideology

Another posting from earlier this week. One of the folks posting on the forums has decided to give people tips in how to search for videos on YouTube and other video sites:

In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate...May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon my dear brothers in all the forums, the Salafist forums.

How to quickly find videos of operations taken by the infidels on YouTube or other sites, such as Google or LiveLeak.com...

IED. Use this term to search for operations using explosive devices. It is the acronym for Improvised Explosive Device.

IED Detection. This is for the explosive devices that have been detected by mine sweepers and were detonated.

VBIED. Martyrdom operations. This is the acronym for Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Device.

You can also search by using suicide bombing or car bomb.

Aftermath. Add this term after IED or VBIED, and you will see the area of the incident after the explosion.

Terrorist or Insurgent. Both will find similar results and will show you the mujahidin.

Ambush. An ambush of the infidels.

Firefight. An exchange of fire.

UAV. This will display unmanned aerial vehicles and their manufacturing, so that the mujahidin mat learn about their movements.

As you can imagine, there are many others.

Don't forget to add sort by after the search term in the search engine, and choose Date Added. This will sort the results by the date in which the videos were uploaded to the site you are searching.

Hezbollah uses Mexican drug routes into U.S. - Washington Times
Tuesday, March 31, 2009 10:32 AM

Works beside smuggler cartels to fund operations

by Sara A. Carter

EXCLUSIVE:

Hezbollah is using the same southern narcotics routes that Mexican drug kingpins do to smuggle drugs and people into the United States, reaping money to finance its operations and threatening U.S. national security, current and former U.S. law enforcement, defense and counterterrorism officials say.

The Iran-backed Lebanese group has long been involved in narcotics and human trafficking in South America's tri-border region of Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil. Increasingly, however, it is relying on Mexican narcotics syndicates that control access to transit routes into the U.S.

Countering terrorist teams, part 3: The second wave response

By Richard Fairburn

PoliceOne columnist

In the first two parts of this series, we discussed the new type of threat posed by multiple teams of terrorists attacking a city with small arms (automatic rifles and grenades). A response tactic was also proposed, that being an infantry-style variation of a Rapid Deployment team. So, beyond the team tactics outlined, what can we do to help our Rapid Deployment teams be more successful?

Terror, Again: First-responder lessons from the attacks in India

Law Officer Volume 5 Issue 1

Americans only learn by disaster. —Theodore Roosevelt

President Roosevelt's words certainly apply beyond events in the United States. The plague of terrorism is worldwide. It's not new—history is filled with such times. Unfortunately, though, the lessons paid for in blood by one nation or group is forgotten and the outrage visits another, in a different time and location. The proof? The destruction of lives in the terrorist attacks of Mumbai in November.

The after-action information coming from India is troubling. According to reports in The Times of India and Associated Press , in the absence of a firing range and of ammunition for practice in Mumbai, members of the law enforcement agencies have not opened fire in the past 10 years. One senior inspector told the Times , ''I've been in the police force for a long time, but I had no occasion to open fire for practice.''

Planning and Prepardness

The Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced today the release of the final Comprehensive Preparedness Guide (CPG) 101: “Developing and Maintaining State, Territorial, Tribal, and Local Government Emergency Plans.”

CPG 101 completes the requirements of HSPD-8, Annex I to develop a “national integrated planning system.” Combined with the Integrated Planning System (IPS) guidance provided by the Department, the vision of a vertically integrated planning system providing for a consistent planning process across all levels of government is realized.

While IPS focuses on Federal planning, CPG 101 was developed by a team of state, tribal and local officials from across the United States working together to develop guidance that can aid State, tribal, local, and territorial officials in protecting their citizens.

CPG 101 is the first in a series of publications developed through the FEMA National Preparedness Directorate’s CPG Initiative. Future CPGs will discuss planning considerations for a variety of emergency functions, hazards and special preparedness programs including; special needs planning, household pets and service animals, fusion center / emergency operations center interface, and hazard-specific guidance.

CPG 101 serves as the emergency plan foundation for both public and private sector planning in the United States. Planners in all disciplines and organizations may find portions of the guide useful in the development of their emergency response plans.

The CPG 101 document can be found online at www.fema.gov/about/divisions/cpg.shtm. For more information on other FEMA initiatives, visit www.fema.gov.

FEMA leads and supports the nation in a risk-based, comprehensive emergency management system of preparedness, protection, response, recovery and mitigation, to reduce the loss of life and property and protect the nation from all hazards including natural disasters, acts of terrorism and other man-made disasters.

Domestic Extreremists on the Rise

April 16, 2009

Dear Friend,

As you may recall, we've recently documented 926 hate groups operating in the U.S. These organizations are being fueled by immigration fears, the faltering economy and the racist backlash to the election of President Obama.

Now, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has just issued a new alert warning of the dangers posed by these hate groups. It says that "white supremacist lone wolves" and "small terrorist cells embracing violent rightwing extremist ideology" are currently the most significant domestic terrorism threat.

With your help, we're fighting these groups every day by tracking and exposing their activities. We're also training law enforcement officers and making sure they have the latest and best intelligence on these dangerous extremists.

And we've warned the Pentagon about extremists who have infiltrated the armed services. No one, of course, can forget the deadly toll of the Oklahoma City bombing by Gulf War veteran Timothy McVeigh.

Please help us continue our critical work and counter this mounting threat by sending a special gift today. We'll keep you posted on further developments. And remember to stand strong against hate whenever and wherever you see it.

Muslim Brotherhood, Whats next?

Goals of the Muslim Brotherhood's "The Project"
1 December 1982 document found during a raid in Switzerland by Swiss authorities on 7 November 2001. The target of the raid was Youssef Nada, director of the Al-Taqwa Bank of Lugano, who has had active association with the Muslim Brotherhood for more than 50 years and who admitted to being one of the organization’s international leaders. The 14-page document outlines a 12-point strategy to "Establish an Islamic government on earth." (more)

● Networking and coordinating actions between like-minded Islamist organizations;
● Avoiding open alliances with known terrorist organizations and individuals to maintain the appearance of “moderation”;
● Infiltrating and taking over existing Muslim organizations to realign them towards the Muslim Brotherhood’s collective goals;
● Using deception to mask the intended goals of Islamist actions, as long as it doesn’t conflict with shari’a law;
● Avoiding social conflicts with Westerners locally, nationally or globally, that might damage the long-term ability to expand the Islamist powerbase in the West or provoke a lash back against Muslims;
● Establishing financial networks to fund the work of conversion of the West, including the support of full-time administrators and workers;
● Conducting surveillance, obtaining data, and establishing collection and data storage capabilities;
● Putting into place a watchdog system for monitoring Western media to warn Muslims of “international plots fomented against them”;
● Cultivating an Islamist intellectual community, including the establishment of think-tanks and advocacy groups, and publishing “academic” studies, to legitimize Islamist positions and to chronicle the history of Islamist movements;
● Developing a comprehensive 100-year plan to advance Islamist ideology throughout the world;
● Balancing international objectives with local flexibility;
● Building extensive social networks of schools, hospitals and charitable organizations dedicated to Islamist ideals so that contact with the movement for Muslims in the West is constant;
● Involving ideologically committed Muslims in democratically-elected institutions on all levels in the West, including government, NGOs, private organizations and labor unions;
● Instrumentally using existing Western institutions until they can be converted and put into service of Islam;
● Drafting Islamic constitutions, laws and policies for eventual implementation;
● Avoiding conflict within the Islamist movements on all levels, including the development of processes for conflict resolution;
● Instituting alliances with Western “progressive” organizations that share similar goals;
● Creating autonomous “security forces” to protect Muslims in the West;
● Inflaming violence and keeping Muslims living in the West “in a jihad frame of mind”;
● Supporting jihad movements across the Muslim world through preaching, propaganda, personnel, funding, and technical and operational support;
● Making the Palestinian cause a global wedge issue for Muslims;
● Adopting the total liberation of Palestine from Israel and the creation of an Islamic state as a keystone in the plan for global Islamic domination;
● Instigating a constant campaign to incite hatred by Muslims against Jews and rejecting any discussions of conciliation or coexistence with them;
● Actively creating jihad terror cells within Palestine;
● Linking the terrorist activities in Palestine with the global terror movement;
● Collecting sufficient funds to indefinitely perpetuate and support jihad around the world

How to tell a moderate Muslim from a radical Muslim
From Dr. Tawfik Hamid:
ABC’s Test of Radical Islam
Please ask your local mosque, Islamic school, and Islamic organization to clearly, unambiguously and publically denounce the following concepts:
Apostates: killing apostates
Beating women and stoning women to death for adultery
Calling Jews pigs and monkeys
Declaring wars on Non-Muslims to spread Islam after offering Non-Muslims 3 options: Islam or pay Jizia (humiliating tax) or to be killed
Enslavement of female war prisoners (Ma Malakat Aimanikum) and raping them
Fighting and killing Jews before end days
Gay killing
The aim of this test is to distinguish between Moderate and Radical Islam. A true moderate person or organization should be able to immediately denounce the above concepts and stand publically and unambiguously against them.
